1# Scanavo kicked off in 1991 from a basement in the Freeport of Copenhagen. A former partner of Scanavo, said about the humble basement: This is perfect!
Soon we expanded to the Nordics, the rest of Europe and even North America.
Can you believe it? During just six years of existence Scanavo had grown to a truly international company. In 2002 we had offices in Hong Kong too.
It is a former employee state: Think big – think global!

3# In 1998 Scanavo started selling our own design of a DVD plastic case. And in 2005 a true milestone was reached: the launch of the very first SteelBook® edition.
A brand which soon became Industry Standards within special and premium editions worldwide. A format which has survived the decline of physical releases.
How? Because the SteelBook® brand is cherished by fans and collectors all over the world.
